We’ll do most of the planning for you, and provide you with a safe, fun environment where your kids and their friends can learn some basic martial arts moves and experience the thrill of being in a real martial arts school.

Rain or shine, your child’s birthday party in our martial arts school will provide them with a healthy way to burn off excess energy and deal with the excitement of the day.
American Family Martial Arts parties are for children turning age 6 or older.
LET US DO THE HEAVY LIFTING
All you bring is the cake and the kids! We do all the hard work of getting gift boxes ready (special take out boxes packed with karate toys and ninja themed items); setting up for the party and then of course cleaning up. Every guests gets a goodie box, a white belt & 2 free classes. The birthday child gets 2 weeks FREE (or 2 private lessons if they are a student).
Our typical parties can have 14 guests plus the birthday child. You just have to decide who to invite and order (or make!) the cake. We provide the paper goods plus Capri Suns and of course the SWORD to cut the cake.
LEAVE THE SET-UP AND CLEAN-UP TO US
Setting up for (and cleaning up after) a kids’ birthday party can eat up your entire day. When you let us host your party, you can leave all of that to us – so you can relax and enjoy your child’s special day.
And our prices won’t break the bank-only $299 for an hour and half karate birthday party. That includes 14 guests plus the birthday child; karate goodie boxes, white belts for all guests along with 2 free American Family Martial Arts classes. AND the birthday child and his family get to break a board!
NOTE: Our parties are only for children TURING 6 or older.

EDUCATION AND FUN WRAPPED INTO ONE
Martial Arts themed birthday parties are great fun whether your child has studied martial arts before or not. We’ll provide basic instruction mixed with fun and games. Your child and their friends will learn something new while having a blast. Our instructor and helper keep things moving along while our hostess takes care of the background duties. Great group of folks running this business. My son loves coming to karate here. I've never seen him so excited about anything, and we've tried several sports and activities. Says a lot about AFMA. Mr. Foreman thought of an effective way to get the kids to think independently vs. following others. He gave them each different moves in Korean. We also like how he gives mnemonics for them to remember the words and actions. Evidently it's working and our girls are enjoying the classes very much!

We can’t decide who to invite, and there are a few other details that you’ll need to be involved in, but we’ll take care of planning activities, providing supervision and instruction, and handling the set-up and clean-up for the party.
Not at all. Martial arts instruction teaches that students must respect instructors, one another, and themselves. We never encourage aggression in or out of our martial arts school.
Experienced martial arts instructors will be on hand to make sure that kids learn in a safe and carefully supervised environment.
No. Basic martial arts instruction is part of the fun, but we also provide kids with fun activities and games during the party. Nobody will be bored.
Of course! Even kids who have never studied martial arts can find something to love at our parties. They might discover that they have a real gift for kicking and punching (in a controlled environment.)
We’d be thrilled to have your child as a student. We can provide you with information about age-appropriate classes to take home and review at the end of the party – and the same goes for your child’s friends’ parents, too.
